Barretina de voluntários realistas de Serpa

Os Voluntários Realistas eram corpos de voluntários miguelistas, muitos dos quais de caçadores. Com a derrota das forças de D. Miguel e a perseguição aos seus partidários, a maioria dos uniformes dos realistas foram destruídos, sendo os exemplares sobreviventes de uma raridade extrema.

The royalist volunteers were corps of "miguelistas" volunteers many of whom consisting of hunters. Following the defeat of King Miguel troops and the persecution of his supporters the majority of the royalist uniforms were destroyed, and therefore the remaining ones are extremely rare.
